journal #2

My second journal is about my first time going to a school in the United States. When I came to this country I continued from 8th grade. I was very excided and scared. I did not speak English and I have never been in that middle school. The first day of the school I had so many troubles. I had trouble of finding my classes, I had trouble of talking to peoplem and I even had trouble asking to go to the bathroom. I was very upset after the first day. I did not wanted to go back to school. However, I had no any other choice. After three or four months later I did not have trouble of finding my classes and I also accomplish on my Engilish skills but it was not sufficent. I knew I had to learn lot more Engilish.

I feel terrified just reading about your first day. I can't imagine feeling so lost and alone as you must have felt in your school. Junior highs are rough places even for people who speak the language and who already have some friends. It must have seemed absolutely overwhelming for you. Congratulations for getting through it successfully!
